Inclusive and Equitable Post-Secondary Education:
- Disrupts the typical understandings of developmental disabilities in ways that open up new possibilities for belongs, learning and contributing
- Assumes students will access and engage in the same courses and opportunities to study, work, and play as any other student enrolled at their college or university.
- Supports an authentic student experience which is coherent with those students who are gaining the greatest benefit from their education
- Minimizes difference and seeks out the least difference making approaches to creating an inclusive and equitable classroom and individual student experiences
- Embeds the student's experience in relationships, activities, routines, and rhythms of the campus by building alliances.
